Secomea is an industrial Secure Remote Access solution covering all aspects of device service - from remote access to cloud-based data analysis.
The Secomea system is designed for:
- machine manufacturers, automation integrators
- factories and other industrial plants
It allows remote access for correction and maintenance purposes, supervision of distributed infrastructure, collection of data to the cloud and its presentation.
Secomea is a Danish company with several years of experience in Secure Remote Access. Secomea continuously implements the latest cyber security standards by providing tools to meet the NIS2 directive.
Secomea's remote access solution is based on dedicated IIoT SiteManager gateways. SiteManager is available as a hardware gateway and as a software version of SiteManager Embedded. The SiteManager can be easily integrated into a remote access system without the need for a fixed IP address and firewall interference (the "firewall friendly" concept - no need to open ports for incoming connections and communication on standard outgoing ports)
Key features of the Secomea system:
- Remote access on demand for service purposes
- Maintain permanent tunneled connections between devices (remote static access)
- Collecting data for IoT clouds
- Easy privilege management with precision at the individual device and protocol level
- Permanent logging of user activity data
- Managing hardware and firmware timeliness status in the context of preventing the occurrence of cyber security vulnerabilities
- Sending alerts via SMS and email
"On-demand" access to remote devices is possible in two ways:
- LinkManager - Tunneled connection with the ability to specify precisely the ports used (TCP and UDP). The connection uses dedicated "VNC client" software on a Windows computer. Such a connection also allows Layer 2 (Layer 2) tunneling.
- LinkManager Mobile - a browser-based connection to remote webserver devices and a VNC or RDP remote desktop server. Such a connection can be set up by the user on any mobile or desktop device.
Depending on the version (hardware or embedded), gatway allows remote connections not only to Ethernet devices, but also to USB and to the classic serial interface.
