SA1U sensors are designed for use in harsh environments, on gates, in machinery, on factory floors and outdoors where dust and moisture are present. Versions with 24-240 AC/DC universal power supply have a relay output. Versions powered by 12-24 DC have a transistor output. SA1Us have convenient screw terminals. The housing has a seal. The connecting cable is led out through a gland with a seal. Available versions by mode of operation:
- Pass-through (transmitter-receiver barrier), range up to 50m
- Reflective with mirror, range up to 7m
- Reflective, range 1m (reflection of the beam from the object)
- Reflective with background suppression, range 2m
