More than 30 years on the IT market in Poland
The history of our company dates back to 1993, when two brothers Jerzy Zajdel and Wieslaw Zajdel formed CompArt Automation s.c., spinning off activities in the field of industrial automation from CompArt Sp. z o.o. - one of the first computer companies in Poland. Initially, the main field of activity was weighing, weighing and batching technology. Soon cooperation was established with the Japanese company IDEC, which at the time introduced one of the first micro PLCs for DIN rail mounting, the Micro1. For many years, CompArt Automation's business was primarily the distribution of IDEC controllers. Successively, automation components such as relays, power supplies and photocells were introduced to the offer. In 2009, Jetter (now Bucher Automation) products were included in the offer. Two years later, we launched our online store.
Since 2013, CompArt Automation has been a distributor of the Secomea remote access system. In 2014, existing employees Krzysztof Zajdel and Rafal Zajdel joined as partners and the company took the legal form of a general partnership.
In 2018, the year we celebrated the 25th anniversary of CompArt Automation, we decided to present our new image. COMPART's new name and logo symbolize maturity and competence. We want our slogan "automation + you" to reflect our utmost respect for our customers, whose needs are our most important challenge.
In the same year of 2018, COMPARTA launched its first signature products - a series of unmanaged Ethernet switches. Over time, COMPARTA's switch family has grown significantly, becoming a key component of the company's offering and strengthening it in the industrial communications market.
2020 brought the signing of a distribution agreement with Hilscher, thanks to which the company's offer was expanded with more solutions for industrial data exchange.
In October 2020, a resolution was passed to change the legal form and transform the company into a limited liability company. The process was completed in January 2021 with the registration of the company after the transformation in the National Court Register.
In 2022, together with ERGATE, we launched ergate.pl e-commerce platform for Polish customers and became a strategic partner of ERGATE in Poland. As a result, we are able to offer thousands of new products for industrial and building automation.
The company's 30th anniversary in 2023 was a time to take stock and plan our next steps. Above all, it was an opportunity to thank all our customers for their trust and for being with us all these years.
