IDEC's SmartAXIS FT1A controllers are designed to provide users with unique and advanced features for applications requiring a limited number of I/Os. SmartAXIS FT1A controllers are available with 12, 24, 40 and 48 I/O. FT1A controllers are equipped with features that you won't find in simple controllers and so-called smart relays from other manufacturers. 10A relay contacts, integrated analog inputs, built-in smart LCD display/keypad, built-in real-time clock, built-in RJ45 Ethernet port for remote connectivity and Modbus TCP communication, SD memory slot for data logging and many other features at a very competitive price.
IDEC's SmartAXIS PLCs are a family designed for control in systems that are not large in size but have high requirements for control and communication functions, such as stepper motor operation, data logging and Ethernet functions. They are available in two types:
- SmartAXIS Pro - compact controller with integrated LCD display
- SmartAXIS Lite - compact controller without display
- Smart AXIS Touch - PLC integrated with a 3.8-inch whiteboard HMI panel
